Marveling at all the literature contained within the walls at Arrowhead, he told an assistant he would be taking his job…and he did. Working his way up, through associate agent, to agent, it didn’t really hit him that he was working at quite possibly the coolest place in the world until he found himself at dinner with some of the folks from Tor—and comparing pocket knives with Gene Wolfe. He loved many facets of science fiction and fantasy, a fire caught when his grandfather introduced him to Star Wars (his favorite) in the fifth grade. He was interested in working with authors on projects such as realistic SF, horror, and dark fantasy, along with stories from marginalized voices—although he was willing to look at any work with serious potential.
