She started her publishing career with Dial Books for Young Readers, as an editor. Later, she moved to Putnam. In 2001, she set up Bloomsbury’s USA Children’s Division, which grew quickly, soon hitting the bestseller lists and acquiring major awards, publishing such authors as Nikki Grimes, Shannon Hale, Renee Watson, E. D. Baker, and many other beloved creators.

Victoria Wells Arms Literary Agent has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and is a member of the AAR, PEN America, and SCBWI.
