Book Agent started initially went to school for Music Business, but she fell in love with her English GenEd class. She transferred to the University of Connecticut and completed a B.A. in English. After her undergraduate studies she went on to earn a M.A. in English and Creative Writing. She started her internship with Talcott and Notch during her final semester at UConn, and is now taking on clients as an agent.

Literary Agent Tia Mele was interested in LGBT+ stories, as well as stories featuring visible and invisible illnesses, especially relating to mental health. And she was all for dog stories as well.
