She received her Master of Arts in Writing from Johns Hopkins University in 2012.

Literary Agent Susan C. Ingram moved to agenting as an award-winning journalist with a number of careers under her belt. She worked for two decades as a film industry camera assistant in Los Angeles and Baltimore and two decades in journalism as a newspaper reporter and editor. She has also taught writing, written speeches for a county councilman, copy edited a well-known international wine journal and happily shelved books at her local library. She now works as a writer and editor in addition to agenting.
