Book Agent Ruth Samsel has a rich and varied work history spanning over 25 years in Christian publishing and retail. Starting with the store she worked in while she was young and grew to manage being recognized as one of the finest and most beautiful in the Christian Book Association.

In 1990, Ruth Samsel Literary Agent joined Carpentree Framed Art as their National Sales Manager and member of their product development team. During her years there she managed and supervised four permanent showrooms, and developed strategic marketing and sales programs for Christian retail stores as well as major accounts such as Family Book Stores, Lifeway, Christian Book Distributors, and Mardell’s. In 1994, Harvest House Publishers hired Literary Agent Ruth Samsel to help start and direct their new gift book division.  At Harvest House she had a duel role as both National Sales Manager and Creative Director. In 2000, Publishing Agent Ruth Samsel was hired by Multnomah Publishers as Executive Director of their newly created division, Blue Cottage Gifts, where she created gift products and new book and ensured brand excellence. After her time at Multnomah she went on to consult with gift companies, Christian publishers, and retailers.
