Peter Miller Literary Agent was a book agent with Global Lion Intellectual Property Management, Inc. He was the President and CEO of Global Lion Intellectual Property Management, Inc. (previously PMA Literary & Film Management Inc. of New York), and was a film and literary manager for several decades. He represented almost fifteen hundred books, among them almost twenty New York Times bestsellers. In addition, his company was almost twenty movies he either managed, developed, or executive produced, and had around twenty more film and television projects in development. Some of the films were nominated for Emmy Awards, such as: Helter Skelter (CBS, with one nomination), Goodbye, Miss Fourth of July (The Disney Channel, with four nominations), and A Gift of Love (Showtime, with two nominations). Some of the television and film projects in development are in association with Warner Bros. Features, Warner Bros. Television, Paramount/DreamWorks, HBO, and many other producers and production companies.
Peter Miller Literary Agent was known as the “Literary Lion,” and regularly attended writing conferences, colleges, Book Expo American, universities, the Frankfurt Book Fair, and the London International Book Fair. He established contacts nationally and internationally with writers, the media, publishers, and writers’ groups. He visited Los Angeles regularly and stayed in close contact with network, studio, cable, and film production company executives as well as with West Coast-based managers, agents, screenwriters, and directors.
Global Lion Intellectual Property Management, Inc. also employed foreign agents throughout the world, and sold books directly in foreign markets.
