He passed away September 10, 2013. Literary Agent Lee Hough served as Vice President at Alive Communications for 12 ½ years. He passed peacefully at home in Colorado Springs after a two-year battle with a brain tumor. He was 58 years old.

Lee Hough Literary Agent’s wife Paula said Lee was mercifully spared serious pain as he was ushered into Heaven where there is no pain. She said he never complained and remained extraordinarily grateful and kind. Literary Agent Lee Hough’s clients included industry luminaries Tim Downs, Terri Blackstock, Rich Stearns, Vicki Courtney, Miles McPherson, Jen Hatmaker, Nancy Rue, Randy Singer, Mark Tabb and Lynn Vincent. He represented such noteworthy books as the NY Times bestseller Same Kind of Different as Me, along with The Hole in Our Gospel, The Blood of Lambs, Never Surrender, The Sacred Acre, and Seven. He also shepherded bestselling novels including Plague Maker, Predator and The Reluctant Prophet.
