He is perhaps best known for his tenure as the children’s fiction buyer at Barnes and Noble, Inc., a position Publishing Agent Joe Monti held for over ten years, where he is credited with helping to form the rise in popularity of teen fiction. Book Agent Joe Monti is now the Executive Director of Simon & Schuster. He left Barry Goldblatt LLC in October, 2013.
