Heather Tebbs Literary Agent was a literary agent with The Knight Agency. She joined the agency in 2017, after two years of apprenticing with Agency President Deidre Knight. She is no longer taking submissions. Book Agent Heather Tebbs earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature (with a focus on 19th Century women authors) and a Master’s degree in Library Science.

During her internship, Literary Agent Heather Tebbs discovered author Cat Sebastian, whose book Deidre subsequently sold in a three-way auction to Avon Books, Avon’s first-ever m/m Romance acquisition.

Literary Agent Heather Tebbs’ experience as a multi-published Random House author and TKA client furthered her enthusiasm for bringing books to readers. She was proud to represent award-winning middle grade and young adult author Shirley Vernick.

Literary Agent Heather Tebbs was interested in authors of high-concept urban fantasy, romance, women’s fiction, romance, suspense, young adult, mystery, upmarket fiction, and middle grade. She was drawn to stories with strong female protagonists, edgy heroes and heroines, and impossible situations.
