Book Agent David Laurell came to The Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency following an extensive career as a newspaper and magazine journalist, television writer/producer, and ghostwriter. He first negotiated the sale of a photograph and story to a Brooklyn, N.Y. newspaper when he was just ten years old.

David Laurell Literary Agent also served as a contributing editor, managing editor, and editor-in-chief for Sports Market Report, Autograph, Pop Culture Memories and Memorabilia, and Life After 50 magazines, where he saw the publishing hopes and dreams of hundreds of writers realized. David joyously embraced the writers he worked with as partners. More than just a literary agent, he was an advocate, mentor, sounding board, cheerleader, and fiduciary.
