There, he worked with award-winning authors, such as: Akhil Sharma, Lauren Groff, Matthew Thomas, Rivka Galchen, and Ottessa Moshfegh.

Chris Clemans Literary Agent left WME in 2014 to help Bill Clegg start The Clegg Agency. He has been diligently working on building his own client list. His clients include: Zulema Renee Summerfield, Anna Journey, Maxim Loskutoff, Matt Young, Phillip Lewis, and Akil Kumarasamy. In 2018, he joined Janklow & Nesbit.
