She wrote and conducted research for the Mike Curb Institute for Music as an undergraduate. During that time, she also competed on the varsity track and field team, and spent a summer studying English literature in London. She moved to New York City to attend the Columbia Publishing Course in 2018. She started her publishing career at Trident, where she was an assistant to Alyssa Eisner Henkin, and helped with Alyssa’s children’s book list before she moved to JHLA.
