She joined Park & Fine in 2019, and is also the agency’s Executive Director of International Rights and Serious Nonfiction. Book Agent Abigail Koons is a graduate of Boston University. She considered post-graduate work in international business, literature, and law until she discovered being a foreign rights and literary agent allowed her to pursue all three interests simultaneously. She started her career at the multinational corporation, EF Education in visa and immigration law. Once she realized books were her passion, she left to attend the NYU Summer Publishing institute before joining The Nicholas Ellison Agency, a division of Sanford J. Greenburger Associates as a foreign rights assistant and junior agent where she worked with Nelson DeMille, Christopher Moore and many other internationally bestselling authors. She joined Theresa Park at Park Literary shortly after its inception as the Foreign Rights Director and literary agent, and has proudly participated in its evolution to Park & Fine Literary and Media.
Abigail Koons Literary Agent represents both emerging and established authors, including: Emily Voigt, Martin Michaud, Emma Marris, Emily Anthes, Catherine McKenzie, and Julia Whelan. She has a particular interest in projects that explore our relationship with the world around us.
