She has connections with over 200 editors, and that number is constantly growing. Karen Neumair is a graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornerstone University with majors in Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Science in Theology. She established connections in the Christian Publishing world before she graduated.

Karen Neumair Literary Agent considered an education career and was going to start her final semester of student teaching when she sensed God had other plans for her. Her mentor and English professor asked if she’d considered an editing and publishing career. Something clicked insider her, and her English professor soon introduced her to Credo’s Founder and President Tim Beals. She was an intern with the agency before she became a literary agent in 2009. She was promoted to Senior Literary Agent just four years later.

After becoming the Chief Operating Officer in 2018, Karen Neumair Literary Agent’s responsibilities expanded to also include staff development, agency innovation, strategic author acquisitions, and oversight of publisher relations.
