Shana Cohen Literary Agent Biography

Shana Cohen Literary Agent was a book agent with the Stuart Krichevsky Literary Agency. Shana forged new paths for the agency, working in science fiction and fantasy and young adult, as well as following in our well-hewn paths in narrative non-fiction and memoir. Shana represented some first rate and award-winning writers. Her projects include SHADOWBRIDGE and LORD TOPHET by Gregory Frost, WATER LOGIC by Laurie J. Marks, SPIRAL HUNT by Margaret Ronald, and David J. Schwartz’s SUPERPOWERS; as well as more commercial fiction like OAKDALE CONFIDENTIAL and JONATHAN’S STORY by Alina Adams, published in conjunction with CBS daytime dramas As The World Turns and Guiding Light, respectively.

Shana Cohen joined the Stuart Krichevsky Literary Agency in 1999, with a degree from Tufts University in English and Art History, and an eagerness to read everything in sight. As the agency grew, she took on new roles – contracts manager, rights director, technology-problem-solver-for-clients-in-distress – and continues to expand her own horizons as an agent. She was a member in good standing of the Association of Author’s Representatives, and served on its Contracts Committee. She also maintained their Kindle Tips blog, which is filled with useful tips and tricks for Kindle users, particularly for those in the publishing business.
