Top Literary Agent 2013?

In a previous article I revealed the best literary agent of all time. That’s all fine and good, but you know what they say…

What have you done for me lately?

So I thought I’d put another list together, one that’s a little more timely. It reveals the fifty best literary agents in the United States based on total book deals reported to Publishers Marketplace over the last six months of 2013. This list includes literary agencies representing all book categories (fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books).

Please note, this list is solely based on deals that were “self-reported” by the author representatives themselves. That means there are many other book agents making lots of deals that don’t report them (since there really isn’t much benefit in doing so, unless you want to make the list). So the list below is incomplete (but it’s better than nothing).
